Our Story

Eat the Coast is a family of locally owned restaurants built from the ground up right here on the Oregon Coast.

It all started in 2010, when David and Britnie Posalski opened Tsunami Sandwich Company during the Great Recession — learning the business as they went and building a loyal following one sandwich at a time.

From there, the family grew. David and Britnie went on to create The Crabby Oyster and Beach Day Coffee, and partnered with Donnie and Shasta Jones to own and operate The Uptown Cafe, The Crabby Oyster, and Angelina’s Pizzeria & Cafe.

Five restaurants. One purpose. Great food, local roots, and places where people come together.
